Photo of the Week - Mo's Cupcakes

My mom recently opened a bakery called Mo's Sweet Shoppe in the rural north-eastern town of Galeton, Pennsylvania. I'm between jobs, so decided to pack up and lend mama a hand for a little bit.

There will be more to come on Mo's, but for now here are some of her luscious cupcake creations...

Photo of the Week - Takin a Break

These guys caught my attention while wandering around Times Square back in October. They looked a little tuckered out, lol.

Photo of the Week - From Atop of the Empire State Building

I honestly can never decide which of these I like better - I guess I like them for different reasons. This one draws your attention to the the nostalgic viewfinder.

While this photo lets you get a glimpse of the background.
There's definitely something about the ESB. It's definitely a VERY touristy thing to do in NYC, but an absolute must. The views and photos alone are worth it! :-)

2012 - already?!

Well where 2011 went I have no idea. It has been quite the year. January 7th will mark an official 12 months that I have hung my hat in New York City. I certainly have learned a lot! But as we all know, there is always tons more to do and learn.

Below is my list (so far anyway.. I'm sure I'll be adding to it later) of things to work for and keep my sights on.

I would love to hear your musings for the coming year! :-)

Photo of the Week - In the Hayfield

Last Friday I found myself packed up and headed west on a bus home to Pennsylvania. It was delightful getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, being able to soak up some country quietness, and seeing my family again. However, the only drawback to the whole thing - there was no snow.

Now I know from experience how difficult it can be to deal with that lovely white stuff day in and day out. But there was just too much brown and grey - a bit depressing which certainly doesn't lend to happy photo taking.

But not to worry, in honor of the country - and my weekend, I've dug this little treasure up from this past summer.. And I'll keep dreaming of a bit of snow or summer - whichever comes first!
